I stayed for four nights. Generally this hotel seems to be used as a stopover. The rooms are typical for HI express. I was in one of the rooms closest to the A2. There is some limited noise from the road but it did not stop me from sleeping.
We stayed overnight on the way to France the hotel is well located for getting to Dover but as previous reviews have said the road outside is very busy. Its not the prettiest hotel and is starting to look dated but it is fine for a no frills stopover.
Having just returned from 3 nights in Canterbury this Hotel is a very good base for the area. It is just a few miles out of Canterbury so very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Vicky who went out of her way to help and advise on places to visit etc. and made the stay more enjoyable.
Location.
This property is located in Canterbury, close to Royal Museum and Art Gallery and Weaver's House. Also nearby are The Canterbury Tales and Canterbury Cathedral.
